I want to get into a barfight today. Can anyone else here throw a punch? I mean a punch with follow through, a punch like your father taught you to throw, your father who taught you to throw a punch only when necessary, when there’s not a lamp or a chair or a pool cue handy, “Save your fists,” he said, “Save some broken knuckes.” That’s the kind of father who knows how to throw a punch. You should hear my dad’s barfight stories. My dad knows how to break a damn jaw.

I’m about to name drop. Forgive me. But this video was in the music video section of comcast’s free on demand for a while. I watched it remembered thinking it was very weird to see them on tv, after drinking with them and playing shows in bars very much like the one depicted.

Good thing you didn’t pick a fight that night.
Yep. That show at the Doc’s. I don’t know if you remember this, but we were close to a bar fight there. Those two drunken idiots edged their way between Matt/myself and you, Emily, and Amanda. We were just waiting for one of the three of you to turn around and yell at them for something like smacking your ass or anything of the sort, and we were going to haul them outside. Not even joking. We were on edge like woah.
